Well technically I don't since I don't have kids yet, lol. But when I do, it will seriously be with a bang because I used to have lavish parties with a zillion presents from my mom (who passes of each of them as coming from my brother, sisters, dad and family cats haha)

My nieces and nephews usually celebrate their birthdays at dinner time with home-baked cakes and an overload of yummy food with the whole family in attendance.

How sad to grow older and be less and less excited about birthdays :( probably because we can't put on party hats and play the musical chair? :p

Hey Jaime, Happy New Year and Congrats + Happy Birthday to Little L on his 2nd Birthday, 31st December is a really cool date, well my son just turned 2 too on the 8th of December. Well since my son is just 2, i know he wouldn't understand yet anything about celebrating his birthday, so on his birthday i took him out and about.practically let him enjoy the whole day n the following weekend i did a small thanksgiving prayer in temple followed by a small cake cutting ceremony with his favourite cartoon character - Mickey Mouse...
i'm glad he did enjoy his b'day and the following weekend!'

Normaly every cople of dayd thay open one and play.

I do not have kids yet (hoping to get one soon).
If I have kids, I would decorate the house with pastel color balloon, try to bake a homemade cake and invite friends to hang around. Prepare some goodie bags with full of candies, tibbits and small toys...

Wishing you and your family a happy new year.

Loving the look of January's kits!
Happy Happy Birthday to your little man tomorrow :-) Hope he has a wonderful day (I am sure he will hehee) I didn't realise he was only a few months older than Samuel!
Usually we just celebrate the kids birthday's with very close friends and any family if they are over here. I always make a fancy cake for them and they get to choose what they want for dinner. Aaron always chooses pizza or sausages and chips haha :-) I think Samuel would choose the same as well! ;-)
