Hi Everyone, Piradee here today and I'm honored to be guest designing for Scrappin Studio this month. I was super excited when I received my box of goodies on Friday and not only did Jaime send me the main kit Daydream Believer, but she also included add-on #1 Clarksville (which I fell heads over heels in love with). In addition, I also purchased add-on #4 Stepping Stone (couldn't resist the yummy goodies and especially that stamp set).
And here's one of my layouts where I mixed goodies from Daydream Believer and Clarksville kits:
I just adore the new pattern papers from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection and pretty much used that as the main inspiration for this layout. I first started with lightly stamping the studio calico Punchinella backgroup stamp on the cardstock, using versamark. Then came the layering of the pattern papers and also a flower bouquet cut out from another Dear Lizzy Neapolitan pattern paper. Also included in the Clarksville kit are these super cute sequence embellishments and pretty much sprinkled a few here and there.
Another fun new product that's included in this add-on kit is the ruffled crepe paper, also from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. I used this to create the banner details on the bottom left and also added a loose piece on the top right. Then came the matching ribbon for some added texture and pops of the epoxy stickers (from the main kit), the cute butterfly embellishment (from the main kit) and finally a few droplets of the studio calico white mist here and there to complete the layout.
I also used the natural thickers from the main kit for the title with a little bit of the studio calico piglet mist; I intentionally wanted an uneven misting effect, to give it that dreamy feel.
Daydream Believer supplies : American Craft Ash cardstock, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Delightful Bouquet paper, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Hazy Horizon paper, American Crafts Natural Thickers, Dear Lizzy Epoxy Stickers, The Gilded Bee Handmade Butterflies
Clarksville supplies : Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Endless Summer paper, Studio Calico Punchinella Background Stamp; American Crafts Sequins, American Crafts Robins Egg Ribbon, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Yippee paper
Other: Studio Calico Mist - White & Piglet
And sharing another layout where I worked with the bits and pieces from all three kits: Daydream Believer, Clarksville and Step ping Stone.
I used the kraft pattern paper from MME as the base for the layout (don't you just love that alphabet design) and then layered on various pattern papers from both the Daydream Believer and Stepping Stone kits (including that fun ruffled crepe pattern paper again).
Also used some of the brad embellishments from MME that is included in the Clarksville kit as part of the layout title, along with some of the fun word stickers (from the stepping stone kit).
I also tucked in a journaling card behind my photos as I just love the saying on the card and those badges from the stepping stone are perfect for adding the final touches...
For the second part of my title, I used the stamp set from the Stepping Stone kit - mixing the two font types together for a bit of variation.
Thanks for stopping by everyone and hope you guys are having a fun time using the kits! Do check back later in the week for more inspirations for the design team here and I'll be sharing a few more projects later in the month. Thanks again!
