Weekly Challenge

Hi everyone!

This is Iris again and I am hosting the challenge for this week. I have always thought that pictures that tell a story should be scrapped no matter what the quality. This layout of mine shows a series of photos that are grainy but tell a very special story. I converted the images to black and white and printed it in smaller sizes to hide the flaws of the picture. This page is now one of my favorites because it tells of a cute and special moment when my two year old was trying desperately to copy her Dad's acrobatic moves:)

Try taking out those not so perfect photos and tell your story...

School Time

While most of you are getting ready for school break, the kids here in Manila are getting ready to start school on June. My youngest is going to pre-school at 2.5 years old and to celebrate that milestone, I made this layout for her during the first day of the summer workshop for incoming students. She looooves school! I can't wait to see her all dressed up in her cute pink uniform!

I made this layout from the gorgeous May Kit.

Funny Girl with Lawn Party

Hi everyone!

This is Iris again sharing a layout I made from the May Kit "Lawn Party". You can really maximize your papers by cutting out the designs and making embellishments out of it...


My favorite ones are these doily patterns and cute butterflies...

Challenge: Soften it up...

Hi everyone! It's challenge time! It's pretty simple and easy - just create a layout and use mists and any kind of fabric (fiber, ribbon, canvas, lace etc), to create a softer look in your pages. Here is an example. I made this layout using the January "Who's Who" kit.
