My first 8.5x11 Layout

Hello peeps, the weekend is ending and here come Monday again. Can anyone tell me, how many of you dislike Monday? Well, just curious to know...Me, I used to hate Mon during school days (lol). Now, I think Mon is great! Well, I always take Mon as my planning day. Somehow on Mon the pace is much slower but it can be very effective if I plan it right! It works for me, how about you?

Here is my first 8.5x11 layout. I did this layout on a piece of Kraft paper bag that comes in Perennial Add-on kit. I thought is a good idea to scrap on the paper bag. Well, here is my final result...hope you will like it!

I made a slot at the bottom of the page to put in some notes.

Studio Calico exclusive stamp is a must to have in your stash. I love this 'Touching Circle' stamp so much!

Those bird stamp is definitely TDF and I love those fussy cut of my son. He is being so active & playful all the time and I can't stop taking picture of him.

2 Page Layout By AK

My first attempt at a two page layout using Sept kit Glee Club and Debate Team Add On Kit. The size of each page is 8.5' x 11'. Since i have plenty of space to play with i decided to scrap few photos and still not having my layout looking too crowded. I minimized on the embellishment and instead draw the focus on the photos.

I actually like the final outcome and yes i think  i would love to scrap more 2 page layout in the future. Step out of my comfort zone and be adventurous instead. Scrapping is a beautiful journey and i'd like to enjoy doing it day in day out. If you're like me tired of the same old same old, now is the time to grab your kit and have fun with it.

I always say this and would love to say it again..Studio Calico kit is so awesome and flexible. Anything you could think off, just let your imagination run free. I'll see you soon with more layouts and i've got a mini album to share!!! :)

8.5"x11" Layouts

Hey hey!! I am back with two 8.5"x11" layouts. I had so much fun when I received July's "Mind The Gap" kit brought by Scrappin Studio. Mojo just came and hence two layouts were created. Don't you just love this kind of mojo?! Lol.  

First off, I created this layout of my girlfriends - Agnes & Wati. They have been awesome girlfriends to me for years & I am blessed for that!

Can you tell that I am addicted to the Small Open Circles Border Stamp?! Love it to bits! This layout was created mainly using the Studio Calico announcement tags you can find in the main kit. So much fun!
