December is here! How time flies. It's been a great year at Scrappin Studio and for today Sunday Sketch we have a RAK to offer the winner. Yes, instead of the usual voucher we decided to do something different for December. 

The rules are simple, simply create according to the sketch above and link your creation at the comment section below or email us at admin@scrappinstudio.com.my. Challenge starts from 11th Dec 2011 till 25th Dec 2011. 

I create my layout using Dec Kit, Brooklyn Flea and the chipboard sticker is from Ali Edward December Daily Kit. Do join us and play along with Jamie's amazing sketch! I love it to bits. :)

Sunday Sketch

Ladies, I have a sketch for you to play with and get a chance to win yourself a RM20 voucher from Scrappin Studio. This week sketch is brought to you by the talented Ms Jamie Lee. I heart her awesome sketch and here's what i come up with.

I was wondering on how to use a ribbon for a boy layout and i finally decided to staple my ribbon on the side of my pattern paper. The Glitz sticker is a perfect embellishment for my page and those canvas banner is my current fav!

Sketch Challenge

Hey scrappers!! I am back with another new sketch challenge for you to play along! I am still diggin' "white space" very much and hence a "white space" sketch is created. Hehe.

Here's my interpretation:

This layout was created using the beautiful May "Lawn Party" kit. Everything in the kit just screams beautiful. It is so easy to create with Studio Calico's kit and you should get one too for yourself, trust me, you'll love it alot!

Yeah i guess i love my kit so much and i create basically with only my calico kit! of course add on's is a must too!

SUNDAY SKETCH

Hi, peeps!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend in this festive season.

Of course I enjoyed mine, especially with my lil' L and good to see that he has made his first attempt in his first few baby steps! He is so excited when he tried walking, same goes for mummy. I feel so contented and thrilled the moment I see him walk.

Okay...

It's time for the next Sunday Sketch and this week's Sunday Sketch was from our talented and fabulous DT, Iris Baboa Uy.

The moment I saw the sketch, I knew I would have the inspiration to scrap it with 

February's Main Kit (Candy Shoppe).

Okay, lets roll it with my take...

In this layout, I decided to use the black card-stock for my background. I love all the embellishes in this month kit. I love those Heart Shape from BG, Hopscoth Collection and the Thinker Alphas are as sweet as Candy.

The close-ups & details...

Scallop rhinestone from MME.

I can't find a white pen, therefore I used some paint and used a sharp needle to write the 'New' word.

I hand torned the heart shape and distress it with ink. Love the outcome!

I hope you will have the inspiration like me to start scrappin' once you see the sketch. I would love to see your layout. The Sunday Sketch has a longer due date which will give more time for busy scrappers to participate as well.

I have a sketch for everyone to participate. This is something new for Scrappin Studio. I would like to explain what is Sunday Sketch. Every Sunday, Scrappin Studio will have a sketch for everyone and anyone can participate. The last day for you to submit your LO will be the following Saturday, and we will draw one of the lucky winner by Wed. Is pretty easy to play, just scrap along with the given sketch with using your favorite embellishments and paper choice. Is it simple!!
