Piradee is back with Daydream Believer...

Hi Everyone, Piradee back to share a few more layouts and a mini album that I created with this months kits; using up all the yummy goodies from the Daydream Believer, Clarksville and Stepping Stone kits.

First is this layout that I created with mostly goodies from the Clarksville kit and bits from the main kit Daydream Believer and Stepping Stone.   I first started out by cutting the circle back drop using my Silhouette Machine (I used a white cardstock and a die cut file from Silhouette Designs) and also the word "family" using one of the pattern paper and die cut file from Karla Dudley.

Then I spray Mr. Huey Lemonade on the larger white cardstock piece before adding the various elements and pops of pattern paper.  The bits of pattern paper were punched out from a mix of pattern papers and taped to the die cut cardstock; other elements were also punched out using martha stewart punches and adhere onto the sprayed cardstock piece.  The entire circle die cut sheet is foam dotted, in order to give it that dimensional effect.

A few close up pictures of the various embellishments used - I just loved these sequins that were included in the Clarksville kit (from pebbles) and will definitely need to get a few more packs of these...

Also adding some word stickers from the Stepping Stone kit - to complete the layout.

Stepping Stone kit: Authenique Gathering Petite Type Square, MME Rhinestones
Other: Studio Calico Mr. Huey Mist - Lemonade

For this one, I just couldn't resist creating another layout with a focus on the Dear Lizzy Dreamy Days pattern paper - I just love these cute little photo frame and the various designs that can be found in them.  Similar to a page I created last week, but this time I did a 8.5" x 11" layout.

The kraft alphabet stickers were also just the right touch for the layout, to contrast against the soft dreamy colors of the Dear Lizzy collection. I also added in bits and pieces of the other pattern papers along with the badges and more epoxy stickers.

and also a play on words... Love You Everyday!

and Always Forever...

Stepping Stone kit: Authenique Gathering Petite Type Square, Marcy Penner Snap Shot Badges
Others: Studio Calico Mr. Huey Mist - White
-----------------------------------------------------------

And for my last project, sharing this free style mini album I created with the remaining bits from all 3 kits. I started by using the kraft envelop as the basis and then building the other pages around it. Also I used the studio calico mist (piglet) to color the alphabets (painting the mist on, instead of misting them).

The idea for this mini album, would be to capture all those lost thoughts.. if only... and using the design on Dear Lizzy Dreamy Days pattern paper as my journaling notes.

Photobucket

I also added in some small doilies for more texture and can't get enough of that crepe paper from the Dear Lizzy collection...

Photobucket

And used the studio calico white mist for the finishing touches - a few droplets here and there.

February Guest DT, Piradee Talvanna

Hi Everyone, Piradee here today and I'm honored to be guest designing for Scrappin Studio this month. I was super excited when I received my box of goodies on Friday and not only did Jaime send me the main kit Daydream Believer, but she also included add-on #1 Clarksville (which I fell heads over heels in love with). In addition, I also purchased add-on #4 Stepping Stone (couldn't resist the yummy goodies and especially that stamp set).

And here's one of my layouts where I mixed goodies from Daydream Believer and Clarksville kits:

Photobucket

I just adore the new pattern papers from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection and pretty much used that as the main inspiration for this layout. I first started with lightly stamping the studio calico Punchinella backgroup stamp on the cardstock, using versamark. Then came the layering of the pattern papers and also a flower bouquet cut out from another Dear Lizzy Neapolitan pattern paper.  Also included in the Clarksville kit are these super cute sequence embellishments and pretty much sprinkled a few here and there.

Photobucket

Another fun new product that's included in this add-on kit is the ruffled crepe paper, also from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. I used this to create the banner details on the bottom left and also added a loose piece on the top right.  Then came the matching ribbon for some added texture and pops of the epoxy stickers (from the main kit), the cute butterfly embellishment (from the main kit) and finally a few droplets of the studio calico white mist here and there to complete the layout.

Photobucket

I also used the natural thickers from the main kit for the title with a little bit of the studio calico piglet mist; I intentionally wanted an uneven misting effect, to give it that dreamy feel.

Clarksville supplies : Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Endless Summer paper, Studio Calico Punchinella Background Stamp; American Crafts Sequins, American Crafts Robins Egg Ribbon, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Yippee paper
Other: Studio Calico Mist - White & Piglet

And sharing another layout where I worked with the bits and pieces from all three kits:  Daydream BelieverClarksville and Stepping Stone.

I used the kraft pattern paper from MME as the base for the layout (don't you just love that alphabet design) and then layered on various pattern papers from both the Daydream Believer and Stepping Stone kits (including that fun ruffled crepe pattern paper again).

Photobucket

Also used some of the brad embellishments from MME that is included in the Clarksville kit as part of the layout title, along with some of the fun word stickers (from the stepping stone kit).

Photobucket

I also tucked in a journaling card behind my photos as I just love the saying on the card and those badges from the stepping stone are perfect for adding the final touches...

Photobucket

For the second part of my title, I used the stamp set from the Stepping Stone kit - mixing the two font types together for a bit of variation.

Photobucket

Thanks for stopping by everyone and hope you guys are having a fun time using the kits! Do check back later in the week for more inspirations for the design team here and I'll be sharing a few more projects later in the month. Thanks again!
